The Lake Victoria Outreach Program

The Healing Hope Malnutrition Clinic is a life-saving initiative under Passion Christian Ministries, dedicated to addressing malnutrition among children in Uganda. Established in 2015, the clinic was created to provide critical care and nutritional support to severely malnourished children and their families, while also sharing God’s love and hope with them.

Located on the second floor of Care Medical Centre, the clinic serves as a beacon of hope for vulnerable children suffering from malnutrition. The clinic’s team of skilled doctors, nurses, and nutritionists work tirelessly to treat children, offering specialized feeding programs and medical care to help them recover and thrive.

Impact of the Clinic

Since its inception, the Healing Hope Malnutrition Clinic has saved the lives of hundreds of children. By combining medical treatment with community education, the clinic not only addresses immediate needs but also prevents future cases of malnutrition. The love and care shown by the team inspire families and communities to take charge of their health and well-being.

What We Do

Community Health Outreach
- The clinic organizes 6–8 outreach missions each month to remote villages. These missions include assessing children for malnutrition, providing medical treatment, and educating parents on proper nutrition and child care.
Feeding Programs
- Severely malnourished children are brought to the clinic for intensive feeding programs designed to restore their health. Mothers are also taught how to prepare balanced meals using locally available foods.
Medical Treatment
- Beyond malnutrition, the clinic addresses related health issues such as infections and anemia. Regular checkups ensure the children’s overall health improves.
Nutritional Education
- Parents and caregivers are equipped with the knowledge to prevent future malnutrition through workshops and practical demonstrations.
